Campfire Connections
Date
Sunday, January 12, 2020 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Description
Join us for an evening of fellowship at Wanakee Campfire Connections, a gathering of camp-style community, open to all.
The evening will start at 5:00 PM with pizza and fellowship. Churchgoers, Wanakee enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to share in fellowship with kindred spirits who find meaning in the profound moments and conversations that happen so readily around a campfire are welcome.
After the informal meal, we will move on to a worship based in conversation. We’ll sing some favorite fireside songs and discuss relevant topics of faith and spirituality. Our time together will close with communion. Plan to leave by 7:00 PM, recharged and ready for the week ahead.
Leadership for this event provided by the Rev. Phil Polhemus and members of Wanakee's Program Committee, including Mara Bovee, Meg Battersby, Ross Ewing, and Hannah Cote.
