Homestead Retreat

This year-round building is also commonly referred to as the log cabin. It can sleep 20 guests in 3 rooms, with 2 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and living room.

Farmhouse

A seasonal building that sleeps 26 in rooms of 1-5. Parts of the farmhouse date back more than 200 years. Enjoy the comfy living room, as well as a standard kitchen to meet your needs.

Cabins

Available in May, June, and September, our rustic cabins sleep 6-8 people each and are on the hill across the street from main camp. Bring your stove, cook over the fire, or schedule food service in the dining hall. Don’t forget your flashlight!

Rec Hall

A seasonal building that sleeps 23 in single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. The Rec Hall has 4 bathrooms and showers, with a large place for gathering.

Please note: This building gets cold in October!

Retreat Facilities

Wanakee's 227 acres, located on 270-acre Lake Pemigewasset, has beautiful wooded mountain trails and main camp open spaces. This is a favorite beautiful spiritual place in the hills.

Food Service

For shoulder season events that take place in main camp (The Farmhouse, Rec Hall, and/or cabins) food service is available upon request. Rental of the dining hall is also available if your group would prefer to prepare your own food. Please contact the office to discuss pricing and meal options.

At this time we cannot offer food service for events held at the Homestead Retreat but the kitchen is fully stocked to cook for a group.
