Wanakee is a Christian summer camp in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, offering seven weeks of programming for children, youth, and adults. At the heart of camp is a community of radical acceptance, where campers build meaningful connections and grow personally, socially, and spiritually.

The staff was so kind and welcoming and I met so many amazing people. All of the activities were so fun and inclusive. I loved being able to hang out with my friends and I made so many new friends. I am so grateful for the supportive staff and counselors. The atmosphere is so kind here and I will always consider Wanakee a second home. All week I have been accepted for who I truly am and grown in my faith along the way. The way that Wanakee makes you feel is such a cherished special feeling and I hope everyone gets to feel that at least once. THANK YOU WANAKEE!

When [our son] came home on Saturday, my husband and I couldn't believe how much he changed. It was like he matured a year in a week! He is normally a quiet kid who doesn't like to share much about his day during the school year, but camp was different. He wanted us to know EVERYTHING. He talked non-stop the whole ride home. He didn't leave a detail out, whether it was about his cabin, his favorite meal, his favorite activity, or the fact he was so proud he passed the deep-end test...
