Join us for the Wanakee Wilderness 5K on August 16, 2025! This scenic race takes you through the wooded hiking trails of Wanakee, offering a challenging yet breathtaking experience. The course begins at lake level, climbs 300 feet to Lookout Point, traverses a saddle to the second peak by Lemon Squeeze, and then descends back to the main camp, taking you by the waterfront before finishing in front of the Rec Hall.

The proceeds from this event will support ongoing facilities projects at Wanakee as well as Wanakee’s Campership Fund, ensuring that the camp experience remains accessible to all.

Registration:
Registration will open in May 2025. Early registration is recommended to secure your spot and receive a race T-shirt. Details on registration options will be available on our WW5K website.
